education
Very early the education in the geisha begins. Already

have the status of a dance girl (Maiko). The very extensive curriculum
provides the most different abilities for the young girls. The
chairmanship is trained to the young girls, history, culture, the
customs and uses of her native country must control the geishas located

guest becomes never obvious. In addition a Maiko learns the traditional
Japanese dances and songs. In addition, they must control the difficult
stringed instrument the "Shamise". Also the Maikos must be able to bind

Lives and works of a geisha
The geishas life and work in traditional manner who

a geisha lives in a special geisha's house which lies in own parts of

In the Hana-Machi are also the studios and workshops of the shoemakers,
kimono tailors, instrument farmer, dancing instructor and music teacher.

geishas needs.
